The untold story.

Etrian Odyssey, a well-known franchise in the video game industry, is a perfect combination of crawling-RPG gameplay and a beautiful story that deserves to be experienced. Now, with Etrian Odyssey Untold: The Millennium Girl, Atlus strikes again on the 3DS with a brand-new story that everyone should hear.

The
demo that is available in the Nintendo 3DS eShop is the perfect beginning for this story. After you download the demo and start playing, you embark in a world that is so gorgeous and with the 3D effect of the 3DS the environment becomes even more pretty.

At this point,
the title screen shows you a wonderful view of what you can see in the game, and when you start a new game you have two possibilities: you can play the great story that the game tells to you, or you can create a whole new adventure of your own. The best choice for beginners is the first option.

Now that you are in the game, the gorgeous animation
s that welcome you show up, and with that the story itself follows. You can see after the cut-scene the classic appearance for an Etrian Odyssey game. The characters have a really nice look, as always in a EO games, and they invite you to want to see more of the art. EO 4 came with an art book because it is beautiful.

The game itself, as
I mentioned before, is a crawling-RPG, and the thing that make this game so unique is that you have to draw almost all the map in the dungeon that you are exploring. That's exactly the first mission the game give to you: in the entrance of the Yggdrasil Forest, you have to draw a part of the map   to do that mission and you have to explore almost every corner of the dungeon, to get the freedom to go almost  anywhere you want.

The Demo continue until you reach level 10, so it depends on you how long is going to be the story.

This review is been writing with two proposes  enter a contest and to show everyone who enjoy video games how awesome is Etrian Odyssey.
